Competency Based Interviewing

A competency based interview (CBI), also referred to as a situational or behavioral based interview, is a style of interviewing often used to evaluate a candidate's competence. Especially when it is hard to select an individual based on technical competencies, or the organization needs to make sure whether its existing or potential employees, match the organization standards in terms of behaviors and competencies.
